November 2001: I was selected to ride at the Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships for the University of Colorado's Cycling Team. Nationals for 2001 were hosted at Platekill New York, in the Catskills near Roxbury.
The team did great, earning second place overall, with a few individual podium spots. Personally, I got 14th place in the Short Track Cross Country. Despite the weather, we all had a blast!
