Mt. Antero
Angi took a day off work and we climbed Mt. Antero. This is the second to last fourteener to catch her up to my count.

Mt. Princeton
Angi and I climbed Mt. Princeton on nearly the shortest day of the year. We had fairly reasonable weather for December, and had a great weekend.

Hot Air Balloon Festival
Angi and I went to her parent's house, and there just happened to be a hot air balloon festival across the road. We woke up at sunrise, and watched over fifty balloons take to the skies.

Longs Peak
After our climb of Mt. Whitney and long drive back from California, Angi and I decided to climb a peak close to home. We Climbed Longs Peak, the closest fourteener to our house, and Boulder County's highest point.

Mt. Whitney
While in California for a family reunion, Angi and I could not resist the temptation to climb the tallest peak in the continental U.S. via the Mountaineer's Route.

White River
For a family reunion, I finally had a chance to visit a place my Dad spent a lot of his childhood, the family cabin near White River, California.

Mt. Sneffels
Our first trip to the San Juan Mountains included a trip up Mt. Sneffels. We ascended the more difficult Southwest Ridge and descended the standard route. What an incredible place.

The Sawtooth
Angi and I climbed a route I've been thinking about ever since I first saw it for my self more than two years ago. We both have come a long way since then!

Fourth of July 2004
Angi and I planned an ambitious trip to bag four fourteeners in three days. We had a great time and good adventures. With these straightforward peaks checked off, we can now focus on more interesting routes.

South Arapahoe Peak
My sister and I went camping overnight and woke up early to climb South Arapahoe Peak. It was very busy for a tuesday, as we saw about 20 people!

Snowmass Mountain
Angi and I went on a big, three day trip to Snowmass Mountain. Even though we did not make it to the summit, we had a great time, and plan to make a return trip soon. This is one of the greatest places I've been in Colorado.

Gemini Peak
For Angi's Birthday, we climbed Gemini Peak. Angi is, of course, a gemini herself, and the peak is close to home and a rather straightforward climb. We also tagged the summit of Dyer Mountain, one of Colorado's Highest Hundred.

UMHE Worktrip
Angi and I went on the UMHE worktrip to Minneapolis. We volunteered with various urban service organizations. It was a rewarding trip. We met many new people and learned a lot about the problem of urban poverty in the United States.

Mt. Yale
Angi and I headed off to Mt. Yale for the second time this snow season. This time the weather held out and we made it to the summit. Even though it has been 80 degrees in Boulder, the windchill was below zero on the summit!

Michelle and Carl's Wedding
Angi and I were lucky enough to be sent to Mooresville, North Carolina to represent the Wegher household for Michlle and Carl Johnson's wedding. We spent the weekend and had a great time.

Spring Break 2004
For spring break 2004, Angi and I decided to get sandy in Colorado, rather than driving for a few days to the beach. We also wanted to get snowy, so we climbed Colorado's fourth tallest peak, in a four day backpacking adventure. In an adventure of a different sort, we had Angi's five year old sister over for a sleepover.
